Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This website is the personal professional site of Alex Gruzdev (Alexander Gruzdev), Los Angeles, California. This policy explains what information the site collects and how it is used.
What We Collect
- Messages you send. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. When you submit a recommendation, we also receive your title, company, LinkedIn profile link, and the text of your recommendation.
- Technical data. Like every website, the server records your IP address and browser details in standard logs to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies. We use two small cookies of our own: one remembers your language (English or Russian), and one keeps a form secure while you fill it in. Google Analytics also sets cookies (see below). We do not use advertising cookies.
- Visit statistics. We count page visits on our own server, storing the page, language, referring website, device type and an anonymous daily code, never your IP address. We also use Google Analytics, which collects similar usage data with cookies so we can see how people find and use the site. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
How We Use It
- To reply to your message.
- To verify and, with your consent, publish recommendations. Your email address is never published.
- To show the site in your language. Your IP address is checked against a local country database (IP geolocation by DB-IP) only to choose English or Russian on your first visit. No outside service receives it.
What We Never Do
Apart from Google Analytics, we do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, and we do not send newsletters you did not ask for.
Embedded Videos
Videos are loaded from YouTube only after you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
Your Choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete any information you sent, or to remove a published recommendation, by writing to us through our contact form.
